NVIDIA Brings 'CONTROL Resonant' to GeForce NOW with RTX 5080 Performance and Announces Googlebook Support
NVIDIA has launched Remedy Entertainment's *CONTROL Resonant* on GeForce NOW alongside nine other titles, while confirming cloud streaming support is coming to Google's upcoming Gemini-powered Googlebooks.

Remedy's 'CONTROL Resonant' Lands on GeForce NOW
NVIDIA announced that Remedy Entertainment’s CONTROL Resonant is now available on its GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform. The day-and-date cloud release coincides with the final days of NVIDIA's CONTROL Resonant Ultimate Membership Bundle, which grants users a copy of the game at no additional charge when purchasing a 12-month Ultimate membership through Sunday, Sept. 27. The company also revealed that GeForce NOW will soon expand to Googlebooks, a new hardware category from Google, alongside a weekly slate of nine newly added game titles.
RTX 5080-Class Streaming and Slate of New Titles
Subscribers streaming CONTROL Resonant on the GeForce NOW Ultimate tier can access GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud. The deployment supports NVIDIA DLSS 4, ray tracing, NVIDIA Reflex, and Cinematic Quality Streaming, delivering resolutions up to 5K High Dynamic Range (HDR) on compatible systems while bypassing the game's 100GB local storage requirement. The game follows protagonist Dylan Faden as he wields the Aberrant melee weapon against the Hiss and Mold across a reality-warped Manhattan while searching for his sister, Jesse Faden.
Leading the week's other additions is Hound13’s anime-style open-world title DragonSword: Awakening, which features 19 playable heroes on the continent of Orbis and runs across supported devices including Steam Decks, Firefox web browsers, and Amazon Fire TV hardware. The remaining titles joining the service this week include:
- Dune: Awakening (Xbox / PC Game Pass)
- Stick It to the Stickman (Steam)
- Wild West Pioneers (Steam)
- DragonSword: Awakening (Steam)
- Everything Is Crab (Steam)
- LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight (Steam)
- Over the Top: WWI (Steam)
- Roadside Research (Steam)
NVIDIA also noted that new users can test the service using single-day passes, with the purchase price applicable toward an initial monthly membership.
Cloud Gaming Meets Gemini-Powered Laptops
The expansion roadmap includes upcoming native support for Googlebooks, Google's new class of laptops designed around Gemini Intelligence. The devices merge aspects of ChromeOS and Android, featuring direct cross-device phone integration, file sharing, and Google's Titan C security chip for multigrade protection. As Google rolls out the new hardware category this fall, GeForce NOW integration is positioned to provide these lightweight, AI-oriented portables with access to high-end PC gaming libraries entirely over the cloud, removing the need for dedicated local graphics hardware.
