Trump Announces Creation of New White House "Super Intelligence Force"
President Donald Trump has unveiled the "Super Intelligence Force," a new government unit tasked with coordinating artificial intelligence outreach across industry and public sectors.

President Donald Trump has announced the formation of a new government initiative dubbed the "Super Intelligence Force" (SIF). Despite the name—which uses "superintelligence" simply as a label for artificial intelligence rather than the technical concept of Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) that vastly exceeds human capability—the initiative serves as a major coordination hub for federal AI policy.
The announcement was made via Trump's platform Truth Social, signaling a centralized approach to managing the rapid growth and societal footprint of modern AI technologies.
High-Level Leadership and Outreach Scope
The Super Intelligence Force is structured to report directly to President Trump and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. It will be spearheaded by a group of senior administration and regulatory officials, including:
- Jay Clayton, Intelligence Director
- Andrew Ferguson, Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chair
- Emil Michael, Undersecretary for Research
- Scott Kupor, Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Additional government officials will also participate in leading the initiative.
According to the announcement, the SIF's core operational role is to coordinate outreach across multiple sectors. Its focus encompasses communication and engagement with AI companies, consumers, critical infrastructure operators, interest groups, and religious organizations.
Building on Recent White House AI Agreements
The formation of the Super Intelligence Force comes shortly after a White House gathering of prominent technology CEOs. During that meeting, tech executives signed a "morally binding" agreement committing to independent third-party audits. These audits are intended to verify that commercial AI models are "operating as intended."
By setting up a dedicated task force reporting directly to top White House leadership, the administration appears poised to formalize its oversight, dialogue, and regulatory alignment with the domestic AI ecosystem.
