Privacy policy

1. What we collect

When you open a page on airace.vn, your browser sends back exactly one piece of information: the path of that page. The system adds 1 to the counter for that (path, day) pair.

So our records look like this, and only like this:

• /en/news/some-article — 19/09/2026 — 428 views

No row is linked to you. We use these numbers to see which articles get read, so we can edit better.

2. What we do NOT collect

• No tracking cookies. The website sets exactly one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, and only when you pick a language in the menu. It stores just the language code you chose (for example en) so the site shows that language next time — nothing else, and it is never used for tracking. It is a strictly necessary cookie for a feature you actively use, which is why there is no cookie consent banner.
• No IP addresses are stored in the analytics database. No user agents, no device identifiers.
• No reader accounts. No sign-up, no login, and we never collect readers' names, emails or phone numbers.
• No ads, no tracking networks. No Google Analytics, no ad pixels, no tracking you across other websites.
• We never sell or trade data with anyone.

3. Fonts and assets

Fonts are downloaded to our own server when the site is built and served straight from airace.vn. Your browser does not contact any third-party font server when you read a page.

4. Embedded content from other platforms

Some articles embed videos or posts from YouTube and TikTok. When a page with embedded content opens, your browser connects directly to that platform, and it can see your IP address and browser information under its own policy — this is outside AI Race's control.

For YouTube we use youtube-nocookie mode to limit cookies. To avoid embeds entirely, you can block them with a browser extension; the article text still reads normally.

5. Technical logs

Like any website, our server may keep short-lived technical logs for operations and security incidents. These logs are not used to analyze reader behavior, are never joined with the page-view counts in section 1, and are rotated according to the system configuration.

6. Operators

The admin area has accounts for AI Race operators, storing an email and a hashed password. This does not involve readers.

7. AI Race social channels

AI Race republishes content as short videos on its official YouTube and TikTok channels. This policy covers the airace.vn website only. When you watch, comment or follow on those platforms, your data is collected and processed by that platform under its own policy. AI Race only receives the aggregated statistics the platform gives channel owners (such as views, and age and region in aggregate), never the identity of individual viewers.

8. Children

AI Race is a general-audience tech news site. It is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect children's data. Since the website collects no personal data from any reader, this applies to all ages.

9. Your rights

We hold no personal data about readers, so there is no record to look up, correct or delete on request. If you believe we hold some information about you, write to us — we will check and reply.

10. Changes to this policy

If AI Race later adds a feature that collects data (an email newsletter, for example), this policy will be updated before that feature goes live, with the update date at the top of the page.
